Last year was a year of achievements for the Ahli Microfinance Company (AMC).
The company expanded geographically by opening a third branch in Zarqa, second branches in both Irbid and Marka, and established new branches in Aqaba, Madaba, Al-Karak and Ajloun. AMC now operates 20 branches throughout the Kingdom.
AMC is relentless in its pursuit of the highest quality services, both financial and non-financial. We equip all clients with life insurance and cancer insurance under “the Care Program” of the King Hussein Cancer Center. Furthermore, AMC orchestrated several social activities such as free community medical days where the public was able to receive treatment and consult with physicians. AMC also planned and implemented a free “employment day” where hundreds of students and youth looking for job opportunities were welcomed by AMC to discover the best ways to navigate the labor market successfully. AMC also successfully sponsored a variety of cultural and sports events and executed bazars and trade fairs which provided our clients with opportunities to market and sell their products and handicrafts to the public.
Internally, AMC invested in our human capital by developing comprehensive training plans and by adopting the most effective tools and techniques. AMC consistently strives to strengthen our human relations function by conducting social activities and gatherings that improve employee morale, enhance teamwork and foster healthier relationships throughout the organization.
During the last year, AMC received a variety of appreciation and achievements one of which entailed a client receiving an award for the Services Responsibility Sector in 2014, while another two clients received the Citigroup International Award representing the Business and Handicraft segments in 2013. AMC will continue to participate in the Citigroup International Award which provides benefits to our clients and strengthens corporate-client relations and enhances customer loyalty, which is an indicator of high importance to the company. Furthermore, the financial support granted to clients by Citigroup aids in the development of their projects and increases their income levels.
Moreover, the last period was a time when the company received its appreciation and achievements recognition, where a client has received an award for the Services responsibility Sector on 2014, and two other clients have received the Citigroup International Award representing the Business and Handicraft Segments on 2013. The company’s victory continued through the participation at Citigroup International Award since 2011 till present, in which it returns with the benefits for the company’s clients and strengthens their relationship with the company and increases their loyalty to the company; this is a matter that the company calls for through its goals. Adding to this, the financial support granted to the clients by Citigroup Award to develop their projects and increase their income. As well as winning a number of clients King Abdullah II Award for Entrepreneurship that was organized by the Development and Employment Fund.
AMC was honored by Her Highness Princess Basma for three consecutive years for sponsoring the Queen Alia Competition for Social and Environmental Responsibility organized by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development. Consistently striving towards enhancing our social responsibility goes in line with our vision and mission.
Under acceleration of international changes and the strong competition between the different sectors, it is important to move towards a system of quality to guarantee continuity to keep pace with these changes, through the stability of the quality of services provided to support its competitiveness, and achieve the required growth, and performance development.
AMC consistently provides the highest quality financial and non-financial services according to universal specifications and standards, and is fully committed to strict quality standards as shown by receiving and adopting the Quality Management System accreditation ISO 9001:2008.
Accordingly, the company obtained the certificate ISO 9001:2008 by building methodologies administrative and marketing methodologies, processes and methodologies, customer relations and human resource management and resources, infrastructure and information systems, and the company's ISO certification reflects the efficiency achieved customer satisfaction for services and products which is achieved through the establishment and implementation of quality systems and security and surveillance quality, and achieve efficiency internally to reduce errors and waste of resources which leads to sustained improvement, and increase the size of the company's business and stay at the top of excellence in micro-finance, to get this certificate as a new emphasis by the body the international quality and efficiency of funding programs offered by the company, the company also embodies get this certification capacity to meet its administrative and financial obligations to customers.
