A partnership agreement between "Ahli Microfinance Company" and "Orange"
Ahli Microfinance Company has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Orange Jordan to benefit from “Orange Money” service.
According to the agreement; AMC's clients will be able to make their financial transactions easily and safely, using their cell phones.
The agreement was signed by AMC General Manager and Orange CEO Mr. Jean-Francois Thomas.
According to General Manager, the agreement will enable clients to pay their loan installments and other financial payments through their cell phones via "Orange Money", and they will also be able to receive the loan amount on their cell phones through the service, which will save them the time and effort.
It is worth mentioning that AMC, a subsidiary of Jordan Ahli Bank, is the first microfinance company in the private sector operates in this field, providing more than JOD 65 M of loans to small local projects since founded in 1999 until now, and offers its services through a network of 14 branches around the Kingdom.
As part of an ambitious expansion strategy, adopted by the company; AMC is persistent on opening new branches.
The company has also trained its employees on the latest management techniques updates in the sector.
The service manager in Orange Mr. Sami Tuffaha explained: that the agreement represents his company commitment to provide a dynamic platform based on the latest technology, to carry out financial transactions, in accordance with the Central Bank instructions for providing this service.
