Mrs. Fatima Ali Al-Daoud, a client of Ahli Microfinance Company, won the Citi Group Award as a micro project entrepreneur for the sector of industries, handicrafts and productive projects.
Mrs. Fatima expressed gratitude for this Award, being nominated by Ahli Microfinance Company, after she started to manufacture pomegranate products ten years ago as a family business. She got the finance from Ahli Microfinance Company to develop her project and to transform it from a home project to an independent one, while inventing better and new products.
Mrs. Fatima started then to manufacture novel products in the region, some of which are (pomegranate vinegar, pomegranate molasses, pomegranate juice, pomegranate seeds oil, pomegranate jam, pomegranate bark and olive oil soap and pomegranate flower medals as a hot drink).
Ahli Microfinance Company did not stop at financing Mrs. Fatima; yet it continued to support her through promoting her products to sell the same in the exhibitions and bazaars sponsored by Ahli Microfinance Company without imposing any additional fees, so that the company encourages the promotion and marketing of its client products.
From his side, Mr. Marwan Shahateet, General Manager of Ahli Microfinance Company, stressed on promoting and supporting the roles of micro project entrepreneurs to assist the national economy, eliminate poverty while raising awareness on effective contributions of micro projects. Mr. Shahateet also stressed on the company's role in raising the level of micro projects while highlighting the distinguished clients who were able to achieve great successes in various sectors and nominating them for different awards.
